I asked my friend Emily to come to the studio to take some photos of my new pictures - it is so exciting to see them, it helps me to take three steps back and makes me look at my own works in a different way.

- I am an illustrator and book artist based in Edinburgh. My work reflects my interest in collage (collecting! photocopying! shrinking and enlarging!), in natural forms (fish! insects!) and in geometrical forms (circles!squares!) and I believe that the white space and background of a picture is a crucial element of designing an illustration or a book page.
